The journal on this site is written by the people who do the work. Every note names the stylist who wrote it and the colleague who checked it, with their qualifications on their profile page.
How a note is checked
Anything about colour chemistry, bleach, bond treatments or skin sensitivity is reviewed by our colour director before it is published. Product advice is based on what we use in the salon; we are not paid by any brand to mention it.
Keeping notes current
When a method or product changes, we update the note and change its “last checked” date. If you spot something wrong, email [email protected] and we will correct it and say so.
Reviews
The reviews on this site are copied from the platforms where guests left them, with the guest’s first name and initial and a link to the source. We do not edit them, and we show the less-than-perfect ones too.
